Displaying the Last Four Digits when using the Credit Card on File feature

In CPS Air 3.96 release, when the customer pays with a credit card on file, the last four digits of their default credit card display. The cards will help to determine at the time of check out which credit card will be charged, giving your customers the assurance that the correct card is being used.

To see and use the credit card on file when finalizing a credit card payment in CPS Air

  1. Open CPS Air on the iPad. The PIN screen displays

  2. Enter your PIN.

  3. Go to the Sales screen.

Note: You can also ring up food from F&B and get to the Sales screen from there.

  1. Enter a customer who has had a credit card on file.

Note: The customer’s credit card information can only be entered into the POS system.

  1. Enter the items for purchase.

  2. Finalize the sale using the credit card option. The Swipe Card screen displays with the card-on-file ending in the four digits at the top of the screen.

  1. Select the [Card Ending in XXXX] from the top of the screen. The cards available to select appear at the top of the screen.

  1. Select the credit card to use. The Paying status wheel displays, next the Confirm and Sign screen displays with the card type and the last four digits in the top-left corner of the screen.

  2. Complete the credit card payment process as usual.
